Life magazine tops 5,000
The team at Worcestershire Life have been celebrating after sales of the magazine broke through a milestone target.
When the title was bought by Archant Life in June 2006, magazine sales were around just 1,400.
But the April edition saw record sales in excess of 5,000 copies.
Midlands circulation manager Richard Drake said: "We have continued to grow Year on Year and now 22 issues later we have smashed the big 5K."
Editor Jane Sullivan said: "I am delighted to have achieved this target within two years of joining the magazine.
"We have a great team on the magazine and Trevor Haynes, who works on circulation in Worcestershire, has been brilliant in getting the magazine into new outlets in the county. "We are now sold in 343 outlets and Trevor is working on getting us into 400 outlets by the end of the year – and I’m sure he will!"
